I'm Michi, an award-winning independent queer recording artist, DEI consultant, and community storyteller. Over the past decade, I've built a dual career in music and inclusion work, committed to amplifying LGBTQ+ voices through my art and advocacy. As Michi, I've performed on major stages including Capital Pride in Washington, DC, headlined Gay Pride Virginia, and performed at Chesapeake Pride, Washington DC Youth Pride, and Madrid Pride. I've opened for Miley Cyrus, Meghan Trainor, and Carly Rae Jepsen, and launched LAVICHI Records to uplift underrepresented artists, especially women and LGBTQ+ creators. In parallel, I lead DEI initiatives as Director of Global Business Development at myGwork, hold an MBA from IE Business School, and a Master’s in Global Entertainment & Music Business from Berklee College of Music.
