A visual storytelling project consisting of six storyboard illustrations in line art and one cover illustration in a comic style.
The goal of the project was to translate key moments from a traditional folk epic into a clear, cinematic storyboard sequence, focusing on composition, pacing, and narrative clarity. Each frame represents a distinct scene, designed to function both as an individual illustration and as part of a cohesive visual narrative.
The project explores how folklore and historical themes can be adapted into sequential art, emphasizing visual rhythm, readable silhouettes, and emotional storytelling. The cover illustration serves as a unifying visual statement, establishing tone, atmosphere, and thematic identity for the storyboard sequence.
Developed personal game animation projects: created original character sprites for a Spelunky 2 mod (replaceable in-game character; download link included)
Collaborated with a team to create character designs within set deadlines, following a structured creative workflow. Responsibilities included selecting moodboards, producing concept sketches, creating detailed renders, and applying additional post-processing refinements. A mentor-guided diploma project focused on creating a character book that transforms characters from Serbian mythology and folklore into original designs for a sci-fi hero shooter game, inspired by games such as Overwatch.
The project includes a full cast of playable characters, presented as a structured character book. Each character has a clearly defined visual style, role, personality and place within the game world. In addition to character design, the project involved building a complete fictional world, designed to function as a potential franchise.
The work process covered the entire design flow — starting from research and mood boards, through sketching and visual exploration, and ending with refined, production-ready character concepts. The project was developed in close collaboration with a mentor, with regular feedback and revisions.
