    paper Yemashanga Music Video
I directed and shot the Yemashanga music video for two local artists. The project involved developing the concept, creating the choreography, and overseeing the entire production process — from start to finish. We had four days of preparation with the dancers, followed by a one-day shoot to capture all the footage. Despite the tight schedule, we successfully brought the vision to life through strong collaboration and creative direction.
    uniE621 Love over Lust (Short)
I collaborated with a group of dancers to create a short dance film titled Love Over Lust. We had just four weeks to complete the entire project — from concept development to production, all the way to the screening, which took place earlier this year at the Duke of York’s Cinema. For this project, I took on multiple roles. I began by developing the concept, which explores the internal conflict many of us face between staying true to ourselves and the temptation to maintain a certain image — lusting after status and approval, and in the process, losing who we really are. As the choreographer, I worked closely with the dancers, who were completing this as part of their end-of-first-year project. Coming from a hip-hop theatre background, I’m passionate about storytelling through movement, and that heavily influenced the choreography and creative direction. I also handled all aspects of pre-production, including planning and location scouting. Working with a limited budget, I secured one location where I managed lighting, camera setup, and filming. Three of the scenes were shot in that space, while one was filmed outdoors. In post-production, I edited and colour-graded the footage (which was shot in log format) and prepared the final export for the premiere screening.
