Hello Matt Stout here. I am an aspiring artist and have been for sometime. Illustrating is my great passion. It is what I went to school for. It is the first and last thing on my mind every day and it is what I would very much like to fill my life with. For the last decade I have been working in the food industry. Be it bartending or managing as such. I am very proud of the work I have put into my choice of industry, and it has also helped me form my work ethic as I see it. Regardless of the pride I have for my station, I still want nothing more than to fill my life with art. Many of my inspirations derive from comic art, Saturday morning cartoons, newspaper comic strips and also old pulp magazines. I see my style as Spawn meets Hanna-Barbera. Meshing complex, and perhaps macabre, details with albeit zany characters. I usually draw wild creatures and superheroes, but I truly like to look outside the box.
