I'm a creative writer and editor with a background moving between scriptwriting for TV (Fleabag, Killing Eve, BBC projects) and shaping story-led content for global brands and live events. What ties it all together is my love of television and the way a good synopsis, logline or tagline can pull you instantly into a world. I've spent the past decade distilling complex ideas into concise, engaging copy—from writing synopses and scripts for the BBC to creating narratives for Netflix, HBO and A24 writers' rooms, through to live tour storytelling that had to land identically across international markets. I am as comfortable researching and fact-checking as I am capturing tone and flow, and I thrive on making stories resonate with different audiences, whether that's in the UK, US or further afield. With 10 years freelancing under my belt, I am experienced in most PM and SaaS tools, including Trello, Asana, Slack, Canva, Figma, Basecamp, Monday and Notion. I have collaborated extensively with TV writers, global brands, live event teams and produce copy and narratives tailored to diverse international audiences. My work balances accuracy and editorial quality with creative storytelling and audience engagement, always aiming to maintain consistency in voice and tone across platforms and territories.

paper BBC - AI & Audio

At the BBC, I’ve recently engaged in a variety of innovative projects. My latest assignment involved developing the persona, responses, and tone for Beeb, the BBC’s forthcoming AI tool. Initially set aside during the Covid pandemic, it is now making a comeback. I was part of the original team, and for this new chapter, I have been brought back as the sole writer and creative strategist. I aim to leverage my expertise in brand tone to craft a distinctive AI voice amid a sea of uniformity, adopting a social-first approach to enhance shareability at every stage.

In addition to this, I’ve been collaborating with the BBC to produce shareable audio content that prioritises social engagement. This summer, I teamed up with Greg James to create a 6 part audio documentary for BBC Radio One featuring Coldplay, in anticipation of the band’s record-breaking performance at Glastonbury.
