I’m Nathalee Arroyo, a freelance creative producer, video editor, and content strategist who specializes in social-first story telling. I help founders, creators, and brands transform messy meetings, long-winded interviews, and abstract ideas into compelling content that communicates precisely what they want it to. Podcasts, short-form video, branded content, event recaps, creative campaigns, social media strategies, and content distribution are some of the different areas where I’ve worked in the past. I can help bring your ideas to life, from concept, production, to editing. My work is usually focused on a content strategy and the end-result is a polished, platform-ready deliverable for you and your audience to enjoy on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other channels. While I have experience in the craft, what makes me stand out is my ability to marry strategic thinking to creative execution. I know the importance of pacing, of emotional connection, of branding and audience psychology - but I always strive to make work that feels authentic and not overly produced, that connects without being manipulative, that balances brand voice with honest human interest.

Ware to Wear Resale — Owner-Led Brand Story

This owner-led social video is for Ware to Wear Resale, a local vintage and resale boutique here in Rochester. I filmed it for them and their owner, Nick, as he interacted with customers in his store during an in-store sale. This allowed him to be the storyteller, and his natural rapport with others became the focus of the video.

I did not make this as a traditional advertisement; instead, I used candid conversation and interaction, as well as the ambiance and environment, to create a video that was both genuine and engaging for the social media platform. It has been cut and edited with an eye toward utilizing social media’s natural flow and connection, utilizing conversation, music, rhythm, and the setting and lighting of the event itself, to both highlight Nick and give insight into the welcoming, community environment of Ware to Wear Resale.

The Last Man Standing — Cinematic Editorial Campaign

The Last Man Standing is a concept of mine about the anxiety a person may feel on the approach to an unfamiliar endeavor and the subsequent liberation of simply being able to be yourself and enjoy the experience of simply being there.

The idea came from one particular suit I found over at Ware to Wear Resale in Rochester, NY. Finding who the right person to be in it and where the right place to be worn, I fleshed out a whole story around it. Bringing clothing, characters, choreography, cinematography and video editing together in a creative concept that allowed me to express myself.

I conceptualized, directed, cast, edited and produced the finished piece and campaign, which involved short cinematic videos, portraits, group content and social media teasing the full story for the consumer.

Ware to Wear Resale — Multi-Vendor Sale Campaign

This social-first recap was created for a multi-day sale hosted by Ware to Wear Resale in Rochester, NY. The event was a gathering spot for the store’s staff, local vendors, customers, vintage clothes and accessories, and community atmosphere.

I filmed the day’s public sale and edited it together into a quick recap that showcases the environment, vendors, products, and energy of the event. All of the vendors got their time in the spotlight, but the recap always returned to Ware to Wear as the main attraction.

The final edit was formatted for Instagram and short social posts, using music and pacing to highlight the environments, vendors, and events that made the day special.
