The hotel

This was a group project where we were tasked with creating visualizations of a hotel in different locations around the world. Our group was assigned Yasuní, Ecuador, a region rich in biodiversity in the rainforest. Sustainability was a key focus, and we prioritized the use of local materials while ensuring minimal environmental impact.
My specific role in the project was to visualize one of the bungalows. I wanted it to feel peaceful and connected to nature, somewhere you’d actually want to stay and unwind. The design is quite minimal, with warm wood, soft light, and big windows to bring the rainforest right into the room. It was all about creating a quiet, comfortable space that blends in rather than stands out.
It was also a really good experience working with my teammate, who designed the restaurant. We made an effort to keep the style and mood consistent across all our images, so everything felt like part of the same project. It was a great team effort and a chance to learn a lot from each other along the way.
