The goal was for Shattered Concepts first production of its first design “Rift”, was to create sentimental and unique product accessories and packaging. This can be seen in the attached Instagram post of a customer who purchased a unit and posted it as a collaboration with Shattered Concepts.
Using the product specs I 3D designed an abstract and unique case to go with the design to make for a perfect fit, using a spring system to allow for a snug fit into the 3D printed case.
This was a challenging list of tasks to complete as it needed to meet the Shattered Concepts style as well as the specific design. On top of it all of these designs needed to be designed with 3D printing capabilities in mind, this includes making it multiple pieces that fit perfectly together to ensure a premium fit as well as a smooth print to avoid rough textures caused from supports or printing errors like warping. Overall I would say the authenticity cards, keychains and cases all turned out very well.
The goal was to make a satchel bag design that fits the abstract minimalist design of Shattered Concepts, after some trial and error using different ideas, the finished design came out perfect for Shattered Concepts.
Using a product from Shattered Concepts I used supplies that were easily obtainable to create a quality Photo Booth for the product. In hind sight it is a bit too dark in certain areas but using a DIY setup it turned out very well.
Shattered Concepts has a dark but saturated feel in its content. Focusing colors on the targets of the scene. Using that knowledge I edited the photo in this post to make the product itself really pop and thrive, using my knowledge on lighting I used a cloudy day to take the photo which was the perfect conditions for such a photo with this feel.
Using free-use assets online plus business assets for Shattered Concepts, I created an appealing video that matches the aesthetic for a competition Shattered Concepts was holding for the community it caters to. You can see this video here
I used CapCut to put it all together after browsing for free-use assets, I went through a few different changes to find the perfect placement for each asset to be as legible as possible while not taking away from the feel the video is supposed to give to the viewers.
