Hello, My name is Nicole Haigh, I am a motion designer with over 8 years experience in the industry from production company's to freelance work. Motion Designer - NH Motion, 2017-Present • I have been doing casual freelance work for a few years, mainly in motion design but I have also Illustrated a children's book and have designed logos/brand design. • This involves managing the projects time and budget, communicating with the client or other creatives when working in a team. Being responsible for the whole creative pipeline through to delivery. Motion Designer - Reel Film, 2020 - Present • I am responsible for the whole process from start to finish. • Main responsibilites are generating ideas from the client brief, creating the script and storyboarding. Design and illustration of assets to animating/vxf and the final export and delivery. • I assist other members of the production team with digital marketing, graphic design,video editing and often take part in client meetings. Junior Animator - Digifish, 2018-2020 • I had a varied role, I managed many of my own projects from storyboarding through to final outputs and when required I also assisted the Lead Animator and Lead Editor. • My main roles were storyboarding, design/illustration, animation/motion graphics, editing, audio mixing and client meetings. Animation Director - Random Acts North, 2017 • I had the opportunity to create a short animation directed by myself and made by myself and a small group of animators. This film was part of Random Acts North scheme which is an opportunity you apply for and if successful your film is unded by Arts Council England and then if chosen distributed online by Channel 4. Sign in: https://www.twine.net/signup_/watch?v=ieRTkvBfjUA Creative Genralist - TU Can Studio, 2017 My industry experience as an animator and motion designer has given me valuable knowledge and skills working within a team and on solo projects. • My responsibilities were storyboarding, illustration/ design, 2D animation, motion graphics, rigging and some project management. • I was also given the opportunity to be assistant art director on some projects, creating the look and feel of the animations. Iam a very keen worker, who is always pushing my creativity and developing animation and design skills. I am willing to take on challenges and have a strong experience of handling multiple projects from start to finish. My technical skills lie within, After Effects and the adobe suite. With strong knowledge in 2D animation, design, concept/narrative building and project management. Along with editing, graphic design, stop-motion and 3D.
