My name is Nini Chen, and I am a concept and multidisciplinary designer with experience in game development, animation, product design, and graphic design. I graduated from ArtCenter College of Design in Spring 2024 with a degree in Entertainment Design. Much of my work focuses on visual storytelling and worldbuilding. I have over three years of experience in visual design with a focus on game art and asset creation. At Hip Flask Games, I designed environments and props for The Bureau of Fantastical and Arcane Affairs, contributing architectural concepts, collectibles, and narrative-driven world elements. As a background matte painter for Marvel Rivals at Shanties Studio, I created detailed cinematic environments for in-game animation and worked closely with the color key and animation teams to maintain a consistent visual style. In addition to my game art experience, I am proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. I am also experienced with 3D programs such as Blender, Marvelous Designer, and 3DCoat, which I use to support both concept and production needs.
