I’m Nick Burns, a music producer and musician with over 20 years of experience in writing, recording, producing and mastering music for Pop, Rock, Soul, Funk, Acoustic and Folk projects. I have credits on vocals, guitar, bass, keys and drums, and I also lecture in Music Recording, Production and Performance. I write music for sync and develop artists’ original material for demos to full industry-standard recordings, or collaborate with clients for Film/TV and advertising. I customize and liaise on specific tasks or requests—whether in the studio, recording live shows, or remotely via Zoom/OBS.
My work with clients includes Universal Music, Ebony Buckle, Angeline Luzi, Victoria Bell, Emma Friendship, Kit Walker, Fox Jackson, Heavyman, Ocasa n, James Rees, Fresh Maggots, Rory Campbell, Charlie Yang, and Bell Noir Band (Voice UK) among others. I also contribute to film scores for Faust Films, and Rebel Control. I regularly teach, facilitate, and mentor students, and I enjoy building and maintaining musical equipment, and delivering client-focused outcomes at parent evenings and tutorials.
