Hi there! I’m Natalie Joy Sanders, a psychology graduate turned aspiring mental health counselor with a passion for weaving art into therapy. I earned my BA in Psychology with an Art Minor from the University of Oklahoma and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with the goal of becoming an LPC. My experience spans behavioral health support, clinical documentation, care coordination, and data-driven practice. I love turning thoughtful data collection into compassionate, person-centered care, and I’m excited to continue learning in both clinical and research settings. I’m eager to expand my clinical skills through rigorous training, while exploring how creativity and arts-based approaches can enhance healing. I’m committed to ethical practice, HIPAA compliance, and collaborating with families and treatment teams. My long-term plan includes advancing in higher education and contributing to the field through research and innovative counseling strategies. Additionally, I strive to make art that impacts people in visual excellence and creativity. I hope to expand my professional experience but I have completed contracted murals and commissions.
