I’m Obai Sukar, a Syrian-American sound designer and audio engineer who has spent more than a decade shaping cinematic sound for international brands, films, and educational media. I design, mix, and produce music and soundscapes, and I founded Karazah Channel, a popular Arabic preschool edutainment YouTube channel with 715K+ subscribers and 301M+ views.
I’m passionate about mentoring the next generation of audio professionals; I started Audio Blast Academy in Damascus to train aspiring engineers, directed audio for major projects like Eternal Parade with Omantel and the Umayyad Mosque acoustic study, and built broadcast networks under challenging conditions in Syria. My work has earned awards (2019 MBRA Language Award) and has been covered by outlets such as NPR and The Washington Post.
