Managing long, messy URLs is a common hurdle, but the real gap lies in knowing who is clicking them and when. I built Janus to provide a fast, simple way to shorten links while gaining deep visibility into user engagement.

A robust full-stack application that transforms long URLs into manageable “short-links.” The system doesn’t just redirect; it acts as a data engine to help users understand their traffic.

• Instant Redirection: High-performance mapping for a seamless user experience.
• Deep Analytics: Automatically captures metadata for every click, including:
  • User IP Address (for geographic insights)
  • Total Click Counts
  • Precise Timestamps (Date and time of every interaction)
• Tech Stack: Built with a Python/Django backend and a React frontend for a fast, responsive interface.
