I’m Owen Devlin, a Glasgow-born TV/film music composer with a passion for the moving image. I completed an HND in TV Production at Glasgow Kelvin College, gaining hands-on experience in camera operation, directing, lighting, editing, and sound, and using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro CC, After Effects, Photoshop, and Avid Media Composer. I enjoyed creating a factual documentary, an animation, and a music video, and I thrived on overcoming creative challenges to bring ideas to life.
Today I work as a freelance music composer releasing music with labels such as BMG across the UK and Europe. I’m seeking more work in bespoke areas across TV, film, and gaming, drawing on experience with production companies and brands like Reiss clothing, Just for Men, Dalmore Whiskey, Triumph Motorbikes, and the National Trust of Scotland’s TV ad campaign ‘A Lifetime of Adventure’. I’ve collaborated with independent and professional filmmakers, learning a great deal about post-production, media wrangling, data ingest, and logging, and I take pride in delivering high-quality visuals and sound. I also worked with Mary’s Meals during my college placement, creating short promotional videos that gave me invaluable industry insight.
