Commissioned illustration developed for the detachable cover of a publication, combining detailed hand-drawn imagery with atmospheric and narrative elements. The work focused on constructing a visually engaging composition capable of functioning both as an independent image and as part of a printed editorial object. Architectural Drawing

Hand-drawn architectural illustration exploring layered domestic space, ruin, and environmental transformation through detailed line work and spatial composition. The project combines architectural structure with narrative and atmospheric elements, developing environments that balance precision, texture, and spatial storytelling. Alongside the monochromatic ink drawing, later colour studies were developed to further explore atmosphere, light, material presence, and emotional tone within the space. Development of a custom illustration as a birthday gift, based on a personal photograph and the subject’s interests in horse riding and crystals. The project involved translating key features from the reference image into a structured line drawing, while integrating thematic elements into a cohesive composition. A dream-like landscape was constructed to combine equestrian imagery with crystalline forms, creating a unified visual environment. Executed using line drawing and China ink. Description
While working at Atelier Ana Aragão, I was responsible for coordinating several commissioned illustration projects from the initial client request through to final delivery.

My role involved analysing client enquiries and project briefs, participating in client meetings, and preparing estimates and budgets for commissioned works. I conducted conceptual and visual research to support project development and discussed these proposals directly with the studio director.

I also produced digital mock-ups and preliminary sketches used to guide the final drawings, prepared final artwork files for delivery to clients, and managed communication throughout the project.

In addition, I was responsible for managing project budgets, sourcing materials, and handling the purchasing of supplies required for production. I also carried out materials research and provided technical recommendations to the studio director regarding production methods and materials.

Studio work developed at Atelier Ana Aragão for the outdoor campaign of the Lisbon Book Fair 2024, commissioned by Porto Editora.

My role involved assisting in the development and production process of the illustrations. This included analysing the client brief, preparing a digital study for the client presentation, integrating feedback after the review meeting, and supporting the execution and preparation of the final pen-on-paper artworks for large-format outdoor print.

The illustrations were created for large outdoor placements at the Lisbon Book Fair.
