Shot to document, to fascinate. From Capri Island by birth, but from Milan by adoption. Nature and cement, delicate rhythms against frenetic ones. The slow breath of the wind against the cheerful shouting of the crowd. I am a child of these contrasts. I have always been photographed since childhood, starting with small compact Kodak disposable film rollers for small experiments with Polaroid. I still remember one of my first photos: I was in an amusement park, in a late afternoon at the end of spring and, trying to capture a beautiful sunset, I made that first shot, already anticipating the result that I would take home. The result was so bad: completely backlit and out of focus. From that small failure, I realized that being able to excite is an art not to be taken too lightly and that in experimenting and testing oneself you can find yourself. The strong colors and the high contrasts are my signature, as are the saturated blacks and the soft and delicate whites. Exactly so they are also in the character: I rarely have half measures. My training as a photographer was refined by the expertise of the professors of Bottega Immagine, a passionate photography studio in Milan, in which I completed my studies up to the maximum Advanced level and with specialized courses in Portrait. In my photos I want to express all the facets of a subject, I want to emphasize it, bring it to exaltation until its desecration.
