In Winter 2023, I designed and developed a super, stylish new website for the Equinox airplane business. The client wanted to impress with a beautiful brochure site to promote their services with modern clean designs and a sprinkling of animation.
The client also wanted full control of the content and the ability to add pages and sections, so I developed a component-based CMS, where the user can easily create pages from a list of nicely designed components which easily slot together!
In Winter 2023, I transformed this site that Google hated. The problems included:
The site was in desperate need of a new and professional look.
Google performance score of 36, mainly caused by a bloated WordPress site built using the DIVI theme
Poorly structured pages that Google didn’t like
15k of dodgy backlinks
These problems meant that the site was sinking way down the Google results page and that customer calls via the website were falling and business was slowing.
These problems were solved by:
Giving the website a nice, fresh rebrand with a clean, consistent design throughout.
Ensuring that every page was structured correctly
Rebuilding the site with a custom theme, leading to a lean, mean website and lovely new Google performance score of 86 .
Backlinks were also cleaned up nicely by Samuel Robinson
By early 2024, the website was now rising back up the Google page results and customer calls and business are back on the up.

In Spring 2024, I developed a new mini-site for Trusted Future, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to the building safer digital ecosystems. It is a stylish information-based WordPress website with lots of nice animations and hovers to make the reading experience more enjoyable for the user. The site then folds down nicely for mobile.

In December 2024, I developed a stylish WordPress, content-driven site for The Digital Futures at Work Research Centre, which explores ‘how digital technologies are changing work and the implications for employers, workers, job seekers and governments.’
The site is focused around a coloured accordian, which hosts all the layers of content including text, quotes and graphics. It also comes with a simple CMS enabling the client to easily update all the content.
