Hi there! I’m Peter Evans, a filmmaker and camera operator based in McKinney, TX with a passion for storytelling through visual media. I thrive on collaboration with directors, editors, and crews to craft dynamic sports coverage, narrative shorts, and television segments, from pre-production through post. I’m constantly learning new gear and techniques to elevate on-set efficiency and storytelling quality.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts at UNT, Magna Cum Laude, I’ve gained hands-on experience across sports productions, student projects, and TV shoots. I love the process of bringing ideas to life on screen, and I’m eager to contribute my technical skills, creative eye, and positive energy to a production team.

Overview: Spearheaded the production of a “Day in the Life of a CEO” comedic skit featuring CinemaStory CEO Shane Reitzammer, turning a typical corporate profile into a high-energy, exaggerated piece of content designed to showcase the company’s personality and boost social media engagement. I managed the project end-to-end, from conceptual scriptwriting to final mobile and desktop editing, to ensure the humor resonated with the Instagram audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Production: Co-wrote the comedic script and developed a detailed shot list and shooting schedule to maximize efficiency during the one-day shoot.
Production: Directed company personnel and handled principal cinematography using an iPhone 13, focusing on dynamic angles and comedic timing.
Post-Production: Executed a hybrid editing workflow, using Adobe Premiere Pro for advanced cuts and InShot for platform-native styling, ensuring the final 90-second reel met Instagram’s latest video specifications.
Tools: iPhone 13, Adobe Premiere Pro, InShot

A live high school football broadcast between Jesuit Dallas and Irving Nimitz at Ellis Stadium on November 7th, 2025.
Serving as a camera operator for the event, I collaborated closely with the production team to maintain smooth visual coverage of key plays, sideline activity, and crowd engagement while responding quickly to real-time cues. In addition to standard gameplay coverage, I was responsible for capturing tight close-up footage of players for slow-motion replays, ensuring each moment was recorded with precision and clarity.
In addition, my job required assisting with disassembling the production setup and supporting the team during cleanup and load-out, helping ensure an efficient and organized wrap at the end of the event.
This project reinforced my strengths in field production, technical camera operation, communication under pressure, and adaptability in a live sports environment.
