I have been involved with music production for over 20 years. Beginning as a hobby it quickly developed into a passion I have pursued through my adult life. Possessing extensive knowledge and experience to a professional level in all aspects of music production, audio editing and cleaning, I pride myself on my meticulous and organised approach to work. I write, produce, and sign music for release through long standing professional record labels such as Pure Trance, JOOF Recordings, Forescape Recordings, FSOE, Tranceformer, and have received numerous Beatport number one’s within the relevant genres. I understand the process from start to finish of what it takes to make music and audio products to a highly professional level within the music industry. A lot of my work is completed 'in the box' but I have extensive experience in a live studio environment recording and using outboard gear on desks such as Audient, SSL, and the Avid S6 for Dolby Atmos projects, plus outdoor and location recording. I presented work of mine that featured on the Pure Trance 9 compilation at the Everyday is Spatial conference at Gloucester University 2022 which I had remixed especially for the conference in Dolby Atmos. Incidentally this was the first time a student from USW presented work at a conference before graduating on a master’s degree. Highly experienced in 3D audio and immersive formats, my Final Major Project on my master’s studies was research into the new exciting Spatial Audio formats and how this technology is changing for the consumer, and the producer. In addition to my personal work with record labels, I collaborate on a variety of freelance projects across many musical genres, that rely on meticulous data organization to ensure high-end projects are completed and delivered. These wide-ranging projects include work with composers, artists, game development teams, the BBC, NHS, and other government-funded projects, as well as commissions from brands. Additional freelance projects include client tutoring in music production and providing all previously mentioned skills, specifically targeting the Trance music scene mentioned above.
