Graduated from Music Conservatory and international award winner as a cello player, Galina opened her first film company in France to produce reportage and hour-long fictions. She is established in Canada since 2001 and completed a minor in business law at Montreal University. Galina first became partner in Alpha-Zoulou Films, where she developed the documentary and fiction departments. Since financing grand pov documentary and fiction projects often verge on the impossible, Galina’s view on her work as a producer gets very simple: make things possible! The films she produced are good examples of doing more with less and less means, without sacrificing on what actually goes on screen. Galina produced the multi-award-winning Mystery of Atlit Yam, Berlin Escape Artists and Achieving the Unachievable, the latter was part of the 2004 Most Notable Videos ALA list, and was celebrated in various international festivals including the prestigious Gold Magnolia in Shanghai.
