The Little Knight's Lantern Walk: Paper Craft Storybook Illustration

A tiny knight. A glowing lantern. A whole kingdom to cross.

What I focused on:

1. Scale: a very small character against a very big world, which makes the story feel like an adventure.
2. Texture: layered, folded-paper surfaces on the bridge, trees, and rooftops.
3. Light: warm windows and lanterns against a deep teal night.
4. Story details: matching banners along the bridge and a little sailboat waiting at the dock.
   Created as a concept illustration. It fits a children’s adventure book, a fantasy chapter opening, or a cover.
