I’m Peggy Sands, a multi-disciplinary art director and designer based in Boulder, Colorado. Since 2006 I’ve owned Indigo Disegno, creating and developing books, identities, logos, and print and web design for individuals and small to mid-sized businesses. I love turning complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals and I oversee projects from concept through completion, working closely with clients and vendors.
My work spans painting, illustration, design, and branding across Europe and the United States, including projects for Women of Jewelry, Emerson Electric, and Sedona Winefest. I hold a BFA from RISD and bring a hands-on, collaborative approach to every commission, from book design to art direction and illustration. I recently received the 2025 Next Generation Indie Book Award for non-fiction design for 'Women of Jewelry,
