Consent of the Governed Vol. 2: Gender, Constitution and Kink

Editorial and visual communication design for an experimental publication exploring gender, law, intimacy and power through essays, interviews and speculative writing.

Design Approach
Developed a typographic and layout system that holds dense, theory-driven content while allowing moments of visual tension and contrast. The publication uses a restrained palette, structured grids and deliberate shifts in hierarchy to distinguish essays, legal references and narrative fragments. The design supports readability while reflecting the publication’s focus on negotiation, agency and embodied discourse.
