Hi I am Renaldho Pelle, a freelance Director/Animator (2D digital) with strong traditional and digital drawing ability. I graduated from the National Film and Television School with an MA in Directing Animation. My short film 'The Fire Next Time' premiered at Annecy, screened at Sundance, and was BAFTA nominated. I have directed projects for charity, music videos, and short film. In addition, I have several years experience as a freelance animator, most recently at Blinkink. As part of my work I have created a variety of characters, always with a focus on bringing people of colour into animation. In addition to my short format work I have also worked as a layout artist and animator on the Netflix feature documentary “How To Rob A Bank”, giving me experience of long format productions. I would like to continue to develop my skills on another long format project. As a 2D animator I am skilled in the use of TV Paint, Photoshop and Animate and produce much of my own work in the software.
