I am primarily a music composer for media having over 18 years experience in writing and producing original music for broadcast, mainly full tv series in the UK and worldwide. As well as producing music for over 40 TV series I have also worked on tv & radio advertising campaigns, short film, party political broadcast, corporate video and on tv station idents. I have also produced and arranged tracks for bands and individuals, often taking rough, embryonic demos from rough sketches to fully fleshed out arrangements. I have also remixed & remastered tracks working from audio stems. I write and arrange music. I play keys, bass and guitar as well as programming beats and drums. I mix audio. I master audio. I handle every stage of audio production from concept to delivery of professional, broadcast standard music. I can and do produce music in any genre with any instrumentation. A lot of my work over the 18 years has been in replacing commercial music that my broadcast clients cannot license. I can quickly, with reference to a source track(s), deliver music in a similar production style with attention to genre-specific idiosyncrasies. With very broad musical tastes I can also suggest styles that may work for a piece of music. The musical landscape is constantly evolving and it's important to me to be open minded about all kinds of music and keep up to date on music production techniques and trends. In short, if you have a style in mind I can get you there...if you don't I can help! In a production capacity I can offer as much or as little involvement as a client wants. My goal is alway to do whatever is required to deliver what a client wants from a piece of music, often this involves suggesting and demonstrating ideas and production styles that could work. Sometimes all that is needed is an objective ear and a little TLC. I work from my home studio mixing and mastering entirely in the box. My software list is extensive with over 400 licensed plug-ins and about as many sample libraries. This allows me to work quickly across mulitple musical genres and production styles.
