Born in Rome and raised in Canada, he studied composition at Concordia University and Goldsmiths College, University of London. His film scores include *Ruth* (2020) and *Ro & the Stardust* (2023), both of which earned Best Score awards, and he has also contributed to Woody Allen’s *Rifkin’s Festival* (2020). His concert works, including *XLIV* (2015) and *At the Fountain of Youth, A Phoenix* (1997), have been performed internationally. He has collaborated with Roy T. Anderson on documentaries about the Maroon people of Jamaica and produced records for artists like Heidi Siegell (*In Stillness*, *Us Lonely People*).
