Rolando Gori is an award-winning film composer and music producer with over 30 years of experience, blending classical training with contemporary sensibilities. Born in Rome and raised in Canada, he studied composition at Concordia University and Goldsmiths College, University of London. His film scores include Ruth (2020) and Ro & the Stardust (2023), both of which earned Best Score awards, and he has also contributed to Woody Allen’s Rifkin’s Festival (2020). His concert works, including XLIV (2015) and At the Fountain of Youth, A Phoenix (1997), have been performed internationally. He has collaborated with Roy T. Anderson on documentaries about the Maroon people of Jamaica and produced records for artists like Heidi Siegell (In Stillness, Us Lonely People). His latest album, Abandoned Structures (2024), reflects his evolving musical voice, shaped by a lifelong passion for storytelling through music.
