uniE621 Pinch Me Please – Visual identity
In early 2024, start-up event decor company Pinch Me Please approached me to create a full visual identity for their fledgling business. They required all the essentials: a logo, colour scheme, typography, suggested imagery, and a detailed set of guidelines that could be handed over to anyone working on the Pinch Me Please brand in the future. Through in-depth conversations with the client, it became clear they wanted something fun, friendly, and unique. As a result, I developed a primary logo with custom, contemporary script lettering, along with a range of sub-logos to be used where the primary logo wouldn't be appropriate. I also created an accessible and versatile colour palette, which included both core colours and tints, and selected a suite of fonts ranging from legible and web-safe to quirky. The project was a resounding success, and the Pinch Me Please brand style has since been applied across web, social media, and uniforms, to name just a few examples. And it's great to see the business going from strength to strength, providing events such as weddings and birthday parties with all kinds of fun and quirky custom-made decor. logo graphicdesigner branding designer
uniE621 Beresford Property Group – Visual identity
With little to no branding in place, George from Beresford Property Group contacted me to create a visual identity for his property development business. This led to the development of several logo concepts in the first instance, with the final design featuring a 'BPG' monogram formed by a trio of buildings, positioned above the company name. As part of the project, a comprehensive brand guidelines document was produced, including a colour palette, logo variations, typography, suggested imagery, and examples of brand applications. This document provides clear instructions on how the brand should be implemented across all media, both print and digital. logo graphicdesigner branding designer
uniE621 New Craven Hall – Visual identity
In 2016, a young couple had a vision for a business venture: transforming an industrial unit on the outskirts of Leeds city centre into an "urban luxe" wedding and events venue. They approached me to create a visual identity that would reflect this concept and help establish their emerging brand. The process that followed involved both design and research, resulting in an aesthetic that blended the glamour of weddings and parties with the raw, industrial character of the local area and the venue's grey, corrugated metal-clad exterior. The New Craven Hall logo is the perfect embodiment of this vision. The NCH lettermark sits within a gold diamond-shaped frame, inspired not only by the precious gem but also by the form of the building's roof. The primary gold of the logo contrasts with a grey background, further referencing the urban exterior of the venue. The look and feel of the New Craven Hall brand, as perfectly conveyed by the logo, has been applied consistently across a range of media, including brochures, the website, social media, and staff uniforms. This brand consistency has been key in helping the company grow into a well-established and recognised venue, not just in Leeds, but throughout Yorkshire and beyond. logo graphicdesigner branding designer
