Hi, I’m Robert. I’m an illustrator who specializes in cartooning and I love making anthropomorphic animals. Give me a critter in a cozy sweater or a weasel having an existential crisis and I’m in my zone. My whole goal is simple. I want my cartoons to make people smile. I live in Anchorage with my wife Katie and our daughters Maddie and Paley. We also have two corgi mixes, Coby is our corgador and Finn is our corgsy. If you hear barking and howling in the background, that’s just my creative team. If you hear sudden outburst of singing, those are my girls. I’m originally from Minnesota, but Alaska has been home for most of my life. I love movies, especially the ones from the 1990’s to the early 2010’s. Cinema peaked somewhere between Goldeneye and Lord of the Rings in my opinion. I don’t love flying and I fall asleep on every single road trip. Truly every one. I’m a pretty boring guy, but honestly, I’m happy with it. Give me my iPad and Apple Pencil, my family, some limited edition snacks, a movie playing in the background and I’m set. M&Ms, Oreos, Pop Tarts, whatever weird seasonal item the grocery store is testing out. That stuff is my research. By day I’m a full time graphic designer.
