My Journey I am an illustrator, social media designer, and animated gif enthusiast based in Stoney Creek, Ontario. Growing up in the Home of the Canada Flag Day, I have a uniquely Canadian perspective built on social equity, inclusion, and fond memories of watching Rocket Robin Hood during ritual Saturday morning cartoon marathon viewing sessions. After attending the Dundas Valley School of Art, Mohawk College and most recently in 2024 the School of Motion studying Animation and Advanced Illustration, my early career was spent at McDonalds, where I learned the art and craft of customer service satisfaction and building Big Macs. I moved on to work at Stoney Creek Graphics as an in-house designer and 2-colour Toko printer apprentice. For almost 20 years I have worked at the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS/CCHST) providing Marketing and Communication with fully accessible print and web materials meeting WCAG 2.0 Standards and promoting safe and healthy workplaces for all Canadians. As a freelancer I also volunteer my illustration services with non-profit organizations promoting human rights, ending mass incarceration and prison reform in the United States, with The 40 Strong based in Virginia and Hear Her Voice in South Carolina
