GranaTech — Full Stack Developer

GranaTech is a Brazilian fintech focused on FGTS-backed payroll-deductible loans, connecting borrowers with financial institutions through authorized banking correspondents.

I contributed to the modernization and rebuild of the company’s financial platform, working across frontend, backend, integrations, and infrastructure.

• Contributed to rebuilding the platform using React, TypeScript, Chakra UI, and Zustand, improving its architecture, scalability, and user experience.
• Developed RESTful APIs using Node.js, Express, Prisma, and PostgreSQL, including authentication and role-based access control.
• Built a self-service credit application flow that allowed customers to independently apply for payroll-deductible loans and generated more than BRL 1.5 million in revenue after launch.
• Developed integrations with Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) providers such as QI Tech and Zipdin, using webhooks for asynchronous credit and lending workflows.
• Implemented asynchronous processing with RabbitMQ and contributed to a Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architecture to improve communication between frontend applications and backend services.
• Developed an Azure Function for processing files from Azure Blob Storage, automating validation and submission workflows for FGTS-backed credit operations.
• Used Redis for caching and performance improvements, and deployed frontend applications through Vercel, configuring custom domains and DNS through Cloudflare.
• Worked in Agile environments using Scrum and Kanban, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, continuous delivery, and task management through Jira.

During my time at Oliver Insurance Software, a Canadian company based in British Columbia, I worked remotely as a Software Engineer on backend and full-stack projects focused on integrations and data processing.

I worked on the Common Layer Application (CLA), a centralized integration platform responsible for connecting internal systems with external HRIS providers. My main responsibilities involved developing backend services using TypeScript and NestJS, building REST APIs, and implementing reliable asynchronous processing pipelines with AWS S3, SQS, EventBridge, BullMQ, and Redis.

One of my main contributions was the development of an ADP data integration, where I implemented fixed-width file parsing, validation, normalization, and batch persistence for files containing up to 3.8 MB and more than 6,100 records. I also worked on reliability mechanisms such as idempotent message processing, retries, failure handling, fail-fast validation, and operational auditing.

I also contributed to Oliver Connect, working with React and TypeScript on frontend features and backend integrations, as well as writing automated tests with Vitest.

This experience gave me hands-on experience with event-driven architecture, distributed systems, B2B integrations, asynchronous processing, AWS, relational databases, and production-grade backend systems, where reliability and interoperability between different systems were critical.
