I'm Rory Byrne, a musician, composer, sound artist, and multimedia creator based in Dublin. I’ve been playing guitar for over 30 years and have been recording music for more than a decade, releasing work under The Pagan Things on Bandcamp, iTunes, Spotify, and other platforms. I also work as a photographer under the Rory Byrne Photography banner, focusing on music and performance contexts. Currently I’m exploring experimental ambient soundscapes using synths and acoustic sources, with aspirations to release new material in Summer 2026. I’m a multi-instrumentalist (keys, ronroco, melodica, harmonica, percussion, and other strings) and I’m collaborating with Grace Lambert (violinist) on a new project. I’m actively training in music technology with software such as Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, Reason, Pro Tools, iMovie, Final Cut, and related tools (AUM, Samplr, Spacecraft, etc.).
