About
Hi, I’m Russell. I studied in New York and after completing my studies I moved to Italy in 1979 to pursue a career as a choreographer, singer and television show host. I became the frontman of Easy Going, an Italian disco group that dominated international dance charts in the 1980s. I’ve appeared on major Italian TV programs and collaborated with fashion brands, while continuing to perform on stage and screen.
Over the years I’ve worked across theatre and film, including appearances in Il Vizietto, Rag Time, Dirty Dancing, The Bodyguard, Verona Romeo and Juliet (2024), and more. I was nominated for Best Actor at the IO M - Italian Musical Awards in 2015. I’m currently involved in Verona Romeo and Juliet (2024) and the upcoming The Impossible Man - Houdini (April 2025).
