I’m Ruth Harrison, an IT professional and languages graduate with a long track record in IT training and learning & development. I hold a Microsoft Certified Trainer certificate (1994) and a City & Guilds 730 Adult and Further Education Teacher’s Certificate. Since starting IT training in 1990, I have built substantial experience delivering MS Office training up to Office 365, including MS Project with a focus on practical, user-friendly delivery. After returning to my hometown East Kilbride in 2007, I continued to train across legal, financial and education sectors while expanding my skills in e-learning and LMS administration.
Most recently, I held a Learning and Development Officer role at Ocorian (2021–2025) delivering global iManage and LMS initiatives, creating materials with Storyline and video editing with Adobe tools. I enjoy creating engaging training content, supporting remote teams, and leveraging modern LMS platforms to boost performance and knowledge sharing.
