Fantasy

This soundtrack was composed together with my brother Rogier. He is a very talented piano player who often comes up with great melodies. A couple of years ago I installed Sonar Cakewalk on his PC so that he could start recording his tunes. Sometime after, Rogier sent me a tune that he had produced by himself. It was just the first few bars of a track which he composed using Sonar´s build-in general midi instruments. I remember the excitement of my brother (finally) picking up producing on his PC. To encourage him to continue working on the track I spend a whole night on replacing the GM synth with ReFX Nexus sounds. The result sounded pretty amazing (if I may say so). But then both of us got distracted by other things until a couple of weeks ago, when Rogier dropped by my home studio. Within one weekend we managed to finish the foundation of the soundtrack. In the weeks that followed I added the choir which can be heard during the in-and-outro.
