Sahitya Pettugani is a multidisciplinary designer, builder, and problem-solver currently pursuing a degree in Design and Artificial Intelligence at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). Working at the intersection of product management, AI engineering, UI/UX design, and emerging technologies, he is driven by a curiosity to understand how systems work and how complex ideas can be transformed into meaningful, real-world solutions. His work spans industries including healthcare, finance, construction, education, and experiential design, where he has collaborated across 5+ industry partnerships on projects ranging from AI-powered analytics platforms and Scan-to-BIM systems to AR educational experiences and healthcare logistics startups. He has experience leading projects from research and ideation to prototyping, technical development, and deployment, combining strong design thinking with technical implementation. Sahitya is particularly passionate about innovation, systems thinking, and interdisciplinary problem solving. He enjoys taking unclear or inefficient processes, breaking them down, and rebuilding them into solutions that are intuitive, scalable, and impactful. Beyond technical execution, he values thoughtful design, user centered experiences, and the ability to bridge communication between stakeholders, designers, and engineers. Most recently, he co-founded Axon Sync, an AI- and IoT-driven healthcare logistics startup that won first place at the CGH Healthcare Innovation Workshop and secured a $6,000 grant for further development and pilot testing.
