Hi, I’m Samuel Shores, a passionate marine biologist and multimedia storyteller based in Wilmington, North Carolina. I love combining my expertise in marine ecosystems with creative video production to highlight important environmental issues and community-driven conservation efforts. Through my work, I’ve had the chance to collaborate with various nonprofits, government agencies, and local businesses to create engaging content that inspires action and awareness.
I hold a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology from UNCW, graduating summa cum laude. Alongside my scientific research, I produce documentaries, social media videos, and podcasts telling the stories of those protecting nature and advancing sustainability in the Cape Fear region and beyond. I’m committed to communicating science in accessible and compelling ways to support positive environmental change.
