I´m Sandra Nicol Ziech, located in south germany, bavaria, very close to the bigger city of Nuremberg. I´m an freelancing artist since the big C @2020/21, currently mostly involved with freelance art and commissions. I´m completely self taught except for that one holiday course in "art portfolio design" around 2013, which I joined after my application for the Design degree programm on the Georg Simon Ohm University Of Applied Sciences failed miserably - I had made the mistake of not focusing on one common thread withing my portfolio, and more or less rather tried to get as many different aspects of my creativity in the spotlight. Thus, I could be categorized as a scanner personality, and flourish under some pressure in temporal and/or incumbent nature. Usually, one can expect me to hit my conversation partners with a train of ideas, which I use to get a better view on the project and the scope of possibilities related to it. This year, 2024, I adopted the regionally well established non-profit art exhibition "Kunst in Schwanstetten" as chief planner and will be displaying my art on the weekend of the second advent, 7./8. of december, with 25 other artists of the region. I work mainly with acrylic on canvas, and curated a style mix of realism and symbolic abstractism. I am confident with brushes and pencils, ink, pastels, markers and with giving my designs depth with the directed use of contrast, complementary and harmonizing colors, light, and shadow.
