🌿 About Me 🇬🇧🌿 Hi, I’m Savanna, an illustrator and painter based in the UK, with a deep love for animals, storytelling, and creating work that feels gentle, emotional, and full of life. I’ve been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember, inspired by everything from insects and birds to beloved pets and British wildlife. I’m now focusing my practice fully on illustration, with a strong ambition to work within children’s publishing and character led storytelling. I’m especially drawn to creating artwork for children’s books, where imagination, warmth, and emotional connection come together to shape meaningful stories. Alongside this, I enjoy working across a range of illustration projects, including editorial, product design, and character based briefs. I like adapting my style to suit each story while keeping a consistent focus on detail, personality, and narrative. I’m happiest when I’m creating, surrounded by sketchbooks, paint, and ideas, and I’m always open to collaborating with authors, publishers, and creative teams who are looking to bring characters and stories to life through illustration. Painting commissions are also open If my work resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you. 🌸

    uniE621 Artwork for Merchandise
This project features a T-shirt design created for a tattoo brand, showcased here as a lifestyle product shot on a model. The illustration depicts a whimsical fox and rabbit interacting harmoniously, designed to feel soft, playful, and visually engaging while still translating clearly onto wearable merchandise. The artwork was developed with print and apparel in mind, focusing on strong composition, clear linework, and a balanced use of negative space to ensure the design works effectively on fabric. A secondary view of the design is also included within the portfolio, showing additional placement and detail. This piece reflects my interest in creating character-led illustrations that feel storytelling-driven while remaining suitable for real-world product application.

    uniE621 Sleepover podcast illustration
This illustration was created as cover artwork for a podcast focused on witchy themes, spooky storytelling, and paranormal discussion. The concept featured two hosts as illustrated characters, alongside their pets, to create a personalised and recognisable visual identity for the show. The artwork was designed to reflect their personalities and interests, including their favourite drinks and the relaxed “spill the tea” style tone of the podcast. The aim was to create a warm but slightly eerie atmosphere that suited the mix of cosy conversation and supernatural themes. This project was developed with a focus on character design, storytelling, and creating a strong visual identity suitable for use across podcast platforms such as Spotify. illustrator logo branding

The final design features a stylised skeleton positioned above a haunted house, incorporating her chosen wording and branding to create a cohesive look across her online presence and merchandise store. The artwork was designed to translate across multiple formats, including YouTube branding and apparel such as hoodies, jumpers, and T-shirts.
