"The Launch Gate" by Cat Janice and Strange Weather

I wrote and recorded this song with Cat Janice, and we co-produced it with Austin Bello.

On a personal note, a few months after we wrote this song, Cat was diagnosed with cancer. She fought for two years, before passing away in February of 2024. She had just turned 31, and left behind a 7 year old son. She was a close friend, a genius musician, and beautiful, brilliant person. She only released one full album, “Modern Medicine”, and I’m honored that our song “The Launch Gate” is the closing track. Spend some time listening to her music, I promise you’ll love it.
