Sebastián Durán

I’m a versatile music producer, sound engineer, and session musician with 8+ years of experience in recording studios, sound design, audio editing, and cross-genre production. I’m deeply rooted in Latin music, jazz, pop, funk, and hip-hop, with credits for artists and studios across Venezuela and beyond. I thrive at the intersection of technical precision and creative collaboration, delivering tracks that sound polished and connect with listeners.

As founder and lead producer of Afro Chill, a pop/funk band, I shape projects from concept to release, mentor engineers, and build efficient production pipelines. My work spans original music for artists, backing tracks and karaoke production, and multi-track recording, mixing, and mastering for commercials, albums, and multimedia projects. I’m fluent in both the technical and creative sides of the music business and enjoy cross-cultural collaboration.
