Hi, I’m Shannon Brocas, a freelance illustrator and concept artist with a passion for bringing imaginative worlds to life. I’ve written and illustrated my own children’s adventure book, Let's Go Space Cadets, and I’ve contributed artwork for a feature in 3DArtist. My concept designs even inspired a Mechanical Wolf-Vehicle that was turned into a 3D model for a published page. I earned a stint at Weta Workshop, collaborating on designs for District 9 after showing my work to Richard Taylor. Over the years I’ve worked with clients worldwide, creating illustrations and character designs for books and games. I’m proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), enjoy traditional sculpture and model making, and I love designing vehicles and creatures that feel real and alive. I’m always excited to translate client briefs into visuals that tell a story.
