Shane Ffrench – Music Director | Orchestrator | Composer

I’m Shane Ffrench, an experienced Music Director, Orchestrator, and Composer specializing in live theatre, music production, and bespoke arrangements. Originally from Carrig-on-Bannow, Wexford, Ireland, I studied piano at the Cork School of Music before moving to the U.S. to pursue a career in musical theatre.

With over a decade of experience, I’ve worked on Broadway tours as a Music Director, Associate Music Director, and Keyboard Programmer, with credits including Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, Kinky Boots, The Color Purple, CATS, and Pretty Woman. My expertise spans orchestration, vocal arrangements, and music programming, ensuring seamless performances night after night.

Beyond theatre, I specialize in crafting contemporary arrangements of traditional Irish folk songs, blending storytelling with modern musical theatre techniques. I’m currently producing an album reinterpreting Irish folk music through a theatrical lens.

I offer services in:
🎼 Orchestration & Arranging
🎹 Music Direction & Keyboard Programming
🎵 Custom Compositions & Songwriting
🎧 Logic Pro & Sibelius Music Production
