So for this collaboration, I partnered with The New Primal through an influencer marketing app called Kale. Kale basically connects creators with brands for paid campaigns, and each project is valued in “Kales,” which represent the payment rate.
This campaign was worth 1 Kale, which means I earned $5($5 per kale for the video) for the base rate of the project. On top of that, Kale rewards creators with bonus pay for unique views, meaning anytime your content reaches new audiences outside your regular following, you can earn extra income based on that reach.
For the creative process, I shot the video in a way that felt natural and lifestyle-driven. I focused on making the New Primal Meat Sticks the highlight while still keeping the vibe casual—like something you’d actually grab on a busy day or while hiking. I used a mix of close-up product shots for texture and packaging detail, and wide lifestyle clips to show the snack in action.
