My career began in film production at Colorization, where I supervised teams working on the digital restoration and colorization of classic films and television. That experience taught me the importance of precision, collaboration, and meeting demanding production schedules—skills that have stayed with me throughout my career. I then spent 20 years at G. Ryan Design in Toronto, producing everything from brochures, advertisements, maps, floor plans, signage, flyers, direct mail, and trade show materials to digital campaigns and promotional pieces for a wide variety of clients. Working in a fast-paced agency environment meant wearing many hats, balancing multiple projects, and delivering creative work that was both visually engaging and production-ready. Today, I continue to build on that creative foundation using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign in both design and content operations roles. As an Illustration Artist with Pelmorex (The Weather Network), I create detailed North American weather maps in Adobe Illustrator every day, producing complex layered graphics that integrate with automated data systems while maintaining clarity, consistency, and accuracy under tight daily deadlines. Alongside my design work, I've supported organizations including Sunwing, Arcadis, and Klick by helping marketing and creative teams organize, optimize, and deliver digital content efficiently. This combination of hands-on design experience and creative workflow expertise allows me to produce high-quality visual assets while understanding the bigger picture of how content supports a brand.
