I am Sheldon King, a guitarist, composer, and educator with a long-standing career as a performer and creator for television, theatre, and dance. I enjoy sharing my experiences and knowledge through large-scale workshops in composition and improvisation, masterclasses in guitar, and one-to-one lessons.
I have collaborated with major ensembles and organizations and enjoy mentoring students and professionals to nurture creativity and technical skills through practical projects and education programs.

I have written a huge amount of songs for and with kids often with refugees and non English speakers as well as in mainstream school settings.
I created the songwriting course for ARTS LIVE and have run workshops for the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne University and The Song Room

For the last two years a large proportion of my work has been in creating ambient music-primarily through youtube.
My work typically involves extended guitar instrumentals but also other elements such as flutes keyboards, singing bowls handpans etc may sometimes be used.
