I have been in the Graphic Arts and Illustration industry since 1976, advancing my skills as the technology has grown from traditional hand applications to computer graphics and digital art. While best known for my whimsical style in children’s illustration, I am proficient in many techniques and styles, from classical portraiture and realism, to caricature and cartooning. I have also been teaching drawing classes and private lessons for boys ages 6-16 since 2008, and since 2017 I have been giving individual ABA therapeutic art sessions to boys on the autistic spectrum, with very positive results. During the 2020-21 lockdown, I gave live online drawing lessons via the Zoom platform. I am passionate about guiding students toward greater self-confidence and self-esteem through structured, skill-building art activities, while also delivering engaging, professionally produced artwork for clients in publishing, education, and branding.
