I’m Shweta Shah, a textile designer and illustrator with over 14 years of experience creating contemporary surface designs for fashion, lifestyle, and home. My process starts with original hand-painted watercolour florals and ink/mixed-media mark making, which I translate into seamless repeat prints for both digital and commercially relevant textile collections.
Alongside design, I’ve taught Fashion Illustration at Istituto Marangoni in Mumbai for more than seven years, mentoring emerging designers while continuing to build my practice around observation, colour, and handcrafted technique. My work has been showcased internationally at events such as Première Vision in Paris and Spinexpo in Shanghai, and I’ve also exhibited and competed as a finalist at the World of WearableArt (WOW) Awards in New Zealand.
