For this project, we (The Matic Studio, under the leadership of Sidhart Vohra) partnered with Mahindra to bring the Mahindra XEV 9E — one of the latest electric vehicle offerings — to life through a highly immersive and visually-driven narrative. Leveraging Dolby Atmos branding aesthetics, our task was to fuse motion-design, product visualization, and automotive storytelling into a dynamic piece that resonates with future-forward audiences and automotive enthusiasts alike.
Objective
To elevate the sense of innovation and premium experience around the Mahindra XEV 9E by aligning it with Dolby Atmos’s cutting-edge audio/visual connotation.
To deliver a high-impact motion design and product visualization suite that showcases the car’s design language, electric powertrain credentials, and the brand-experience promise of Dolby Atmos.
To create a visual experience that not only highlights the car’s exterior and interior in 3D/animation but also communicates the elevated sensory dimension implied by Dolby Atmos — anticipating a new era in in-car experience.
Creative Approach
Developed a visual identity combining the elegance and precision of automotive design with the immersive and spatial nature of Dolby Atmos. The result: clean, high-contrast imagery, dynamic camera moves, subtle lighting shifts, and a graphic language that punctuates motion and space.
Employed 3D animation and product visualization to showcase the Mahindra XEV 9E—that includes exterior sweeping views, interior details, ambient lighting, materials, and the driving environment—highlighting both design and emotion.
Integrated motion-graphics transitions and visual flair, referencing the Dolby Atmos signature audio-spatial idea through layered motion design — suggesting depth, multi-directional movement, and sensory immersion.
Created branding context: using the Dolby Atmos mark subtly within visual frames to express the co-branding synergy, without overpowering the automotive narrative.
