After relocating to Canada, Simar expanded into independent filmmaking and founded Black Jacket Films, a boutique production studio crafting cinematic wedding films and editorial-style photography. Simar’s work combines emotional truth with technical precision — colour, sound, pacing, and visual tone — with a guiding belief that powerful storytelling lives in honest, human moments. She continues to explore narrative and documentary expression across film and real-world celebration, guided by the philosophy behind Black Jacket Films: “Let the moment live forever.”
